At 2015 International CES, industry veteran Eric Bodley was named the recipient of the CEA’s coveted TechHome Leadership Award for his longtime service.
Renowned tech industry veteran Eric Bodley was presented with the Consumer Electronics Association’s (CEA) coveted TechHome Leadership Award at the Mark of Excellence Awards.
In a ceremony held in the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas during the 2015 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Bodley received the honor with humility and pride. The award is given to a single winner annually in recognition of significant contributions to the growth and success of the custom electronics industry through volunteerism, pioneering vision, innovation and visibility.
Bodley, who this week announced the debut of his new venture Future Ready Solutions, was present to accept the award. His more than 30 years of industry experience includes retail, custom installation, manufacturing, launching a variety of brands and products, founding a top Southeast U.S. integration firm, and other technology consulting expertise. In addition, Bodley is a past-president of CEDIA, a member of the CEA Board of Industry Leaders, and the Chair of the CEA Small Business Council.
“This amazing honor is a high point of my career and certainly a motivator to keep achieving among all of my incredible peers and predecessors. This has been a great year for our industry,” said Bodley. “The best part of the custom installation world is the partnerships and collaboration that has helped to create so much opportunity for us all. Future Ready Solutions is my latest, and I believe it is well-positioned to become the best cable and connectivity option.”
Bodley added, “CEDIA is my earth, but CEA is the solar system. Any integrator or manufacturer who does not believe he gets value from being part of CEA or CES needs to rethink that position.”
Bodley’s latest venture, Future Ready Solutions, is a distribution source of connectivity products. The company’s line card includes Perfect Path, Celerity Technologies, PPC, Belden Snap-N-Seal and recently added Kordz commercial-grade HDMI cables.
