Description
The first HDMI 2.1 Televisions and Projectors on the market may only have had a single HDMI input capable of over 18 Gbps HDMI performance. THENAUDIO’s
4-input/1-output GUIDE-4 smartly solves this dilemma for NextGen HDMI signals up to 8K/60 fps, FRL 6, and 48 Gbps. Media consoles such as PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, a dedicated gaming PC, and even an outboard ATSC 3.0 tuner present connectivity issues for under-equipped video displays.
THENAUDIO’s comprehensive CEC interactivity enables all GUIDE-4 inputs to be visible on the TV’s CEC network scan, with the inputs appearing linked onscreen to the HDMI input the GUIDE-4 output is connected to. For example, when GUIDE-4 is connected to HDMI Input 3 of a display, the onscreen data populates under Input 3 as having four associate inputs. Additionally, the TV remote may access each of these with the actual switching occurring automatically inside the GUIDE-4. Another access feature is pressing the Menu button on the remote control for the desired source. Pressing the PlayStation 5 remote control menu button will issue a string of specific CEC commands, which GUIDE-4 will process, enabling the PlayStation to cue up its input within the TV input, then changing the TV to HDMI Input 3 (the above example).
GUIDE-4 inputs may be selected by IR command by respective device controls, third-party automation processors, or the manual onboard toggle button.

Easily Controllable Inputs: Connected Guide-4 sources may be controlled by the TV remote, or a source may be selected by pressing the Menu button on its respective remote.
