Introduction
The Platinum Tools TPS100C is an easy-to-use, pocket-sized tester that verifies whether PoE is present on network cables. Bright LED indicators instantly show PoE status, including whether the voltage is end-span (pairs 1/2 and 3/6) or mid-span (pairs 4/5 and 7/8).
The TPS100C conveniently connects directly to a twisted pair cable via a built-in RJ45 jack, or an included patch cord can be used to connect the TPS100C to RJ45 keystones, jacks and ports.
The TPS100C is a vital and affordable tool for verifying whether PoE is present and, if so, on which cable pairs. It quickly identifies whether the PoE is being sent from an end-span device, such as a network switch or router, or an end-span device, such as a PoE injector.
