Description
The AC-MXNET-1G-MV41V2 boldly redefines video tiling and the multi-source/ multiviewing experience. Traditional multiview devices in the video digital age statically tethered four HDMI sources for output on a single display.
Integrated into an AVPro Edge MXnet Evolution II ecosystem, this AV-over-IP 1 RU chameleon incorporates four onboard EV2 decoders plus an output EV2 encoder to simultaneously choreograph any four ecosystem sources to any, or all, ecosystem decoders in configurations limited only by your imagination.
Any encoded source is MultiView-eligible for delivery to every ecosystem decoder, creating unparalleled flexibility to address the specific requirements demanded by installation applications ranging from Hospitality, Education, Government, and Medical, to Retail and the Workplace.
Sources, up to 4K/60 fps, are delivered in real time. MXnet’ s Mentor Web UI control application intuitively and easily reconfigures sources for live tile and drag-and-drop editing, with changes occurring immediately to meet dynamically evolving circumstances. Alternatively, a comprehensive API empowers control by major third-party automation providers.
Four pre-configured layouts, consisting of 2 x 2 PIP, one large pane with three along the bottom, three on the left side with one adjacent large pane, plus cascade, may be customized and are recallable.
Unlimited Flexibility
As MXnet AV-over-IP represents the ultimate matrix switcher, the AC-MXNET-1G-MV41V2 is the ultimate 4-input AV-over-IP video tiler. The effortless matrixing that AV-over-IP affords to source and display signal routing provides the AC-MXNET-1G-MV41V2 with dynamic source-switching flexibility denied to direct-connect HDMI multiviewers. Uniquely incorporating four input decoders and an output encoder onboard the space-saving 1 RU chassis, all linked with the network switch, establishes virtual matrixing capabilities via MXnet Evolution II that are impossible to create in an HDMI-configured multiview domain. Any four-source combination can be sent to any or all end-point decoders.
HLG and Enhanced Metadata Format Compatible
When suitably configured, HLG, HDR10, and Dolby Vision signals may pass through the AC-MXNET-1G-MV41V2 as a single source in a 100% full single-pane window with metadata intact. A commercial or residential sports bar setting featuring a national sporting event in HLG may wish to maximize the image on the entire display.
For multi-source, mixed dynamic range use, metadata is stripped away from enhanced sources, and the signal is converted into RGB. This ensures that each active pane retains a flawless, uniform appearance.
Third-party Overcontrol
The AC-MXNET-1G-MV41V2 is Control4-ready and automation-friendly with all major control systems. The extensive API is designed to equip integrators with all the command tools necessary to provide a seamless, end-user experience.
MXnet Mentor Interface
The familiar MXnet Mentor GUI simplifies setup, configuration, and on-the-fly changes from an ecosystem central location.
Layout Customization
Four default layout configurations; a fourth is customizable and recallable for application-specific requirements.
The defaults can be temporarily modified as desired; however, each is restored to its default when power is recycled.
Ultra Low Latency
Image exchanges are performed with minimal, virtually imperceptible delay. Drag-and-drop live tile editing changes are rendered immediately.
1 RU Space-Saving Chassis
Four decoders and an encoder in a chassis one rack unit in height efficiently consolidate vertical rack space. A selectable, high-visibility front panel OLED window displays IP and MAC addresses for quick, at-a-glance verification, foregoing a PC connection.
HDMI Monitor Output
The output encoder circuitry adds an EDID-managed HDMI output for a local queuing monitor.
