Description

AVPro Edge engineered the AC-MXNET-SW24E as a cost-effective, advanced network switch to efficiently manage the advantages of MXnet USP series Essential, Plus, and Pro endpoints. Stacking is supported with appropriate bandwidth allocation.

In standalone MXnet 1G Evo I & Evo II systems, up to 23 endpoints plus the CBOX are supported by the AC-MXNET-SW24E PoE+ total power budget.

Employing an OSI Layer 2.5 architecture that integrates advanced Layer 2 data link capabilities with select Layer 3 network functions such as optimized multicast routing, the AC-MXNET-SW24E is pre-configured for MXnet USP, 1G Evolution I & II, and Dante audio protocols and features VLAN segmentation, QoS prioritization, and IGMP snooping settings enabled for out-of-the-box plug-and-play deployment.

AVPro Edge’s robust suite of proprietary Intelligent A/V Processing (IAVP) technologies correctly regulates multicast processor loads, ensuring high reliability for AV-over-IP traffic while delivering non-blocking Layer 3-equivalent performance at reduced cost compared to full Layer 3 switches.

The AC-MXNET-SW24E simplifies deployment with PoE+ connectivity, four 1G SFP expansion ports for effortless scalability, and MXnet-optimized profiles that eliminate complex network setup. Backed by AVPro Edge’s signature build quality and trusted reliability, it delivers a versatile, cost-effective solution for professional-grade network performance in commercial projects such as hospitality, retail, and healthcare, while also ideal for residential AV applications.

Key Benefits

Engineered With Cost-Effectiveness In Mind: Advanced Layer 2.5 (L2+) architecture combines Layer 2 efficiency with Layer 3 routing flexibility for improved traffic management and support of multiple protocols. Price and complexity are reduced without compromising latency, forfeiting minor scalability, or inhibiting perceptible speed.

Non-blocking Architecture for USP Deployments: A stacking bandwidth of 4 Gbps exceeds the 1.44 Gbps maximum USP endpoint capacity for congestion-free stream routing.

24 PoE+ Copper Ports: Single-cable connectivity eliminates the need for external power supplies with a PoE+ budget of 370 watts, resulting in clutter-free, simplified installations with enhanced reliability and lower system costs.

4 x 1G SFP Stacking Ports: Enables 4 x 1G stacking for USP/Dante audio systems or provides uplinks to core infrastructure. May also be used with Link Aggregation to increase bandwidth.

Dante Audio Prioritized: AVPro Edge is the first professional AV manufacturer to implement Dante-oriented QoS traffic prioritization to enhance network streaming performance in residential and commercial environments.

Pre-configured for MXnet USP, 1G V1/V2, and Dante: Truly plug-and-play in a standalone MXnet 1G EVO I or EVO II system, with out-of-the-box MXnet USP and Dante audio protocol support. VLAN, QoS, and IGMP settings are optimized, with no additional adjustments required.

1 RU Compact Rack Height: Standard AV rack mount spacing.

Note: There is an Installation Maximum of 4 Switch Hops.
