Introduction

The Platinum Tools TNC950AR Net Chaser is a powerful, fully-loaded network and cable tester that certifies Ethernet speeds up to 1Gbps. The TNC950AR essentially combines three tools in one: it tests for noise in the network, detects faults in the cable wiring and ensures cables and connectivity equipment are able to support the speed capabilities of the active network electronics.

In addition to testing and speed certification, the TNC950AR also features advanced network discovery which detects device ports and connections while effectively mapping the network.

The Net Chaser testing system is available in two models: the basic kit with a soft-style carrying case (part number TNC950AR) and the deluxe kit with a hard-style case and additional accessories (part number TNC950DX). All models feature the same testing and certification capabilities.
