The new 8+2 ports 10/100/1000/2500Mbps desktop PoE++ switch provides seamless network connections, integrating Fast, Gigabit Ethernet and 2.5G copper Ethernet network with 1G/2.5G/10G fiber capabilities. The PoE ports can automatically detect and supply power to IEEE 802.3af/at/bt-compliant Powered Devices (PDs). Port 1 on the switch actually supports 802.3bt PoE++ standard for up to 90W of power consumption. The electrical power is transmitted along with data in one single cable allowing you to expand your network where there are no power lines or outlets, to where you need to install devices such as APs, IP cameras, or IP phones etc.

PoE Features
The RB10-802S-PSE switch can provide up to 30 Watts of power per port to attached devices, such as VoIP phones, wireless access points, surveillance cameras etc, all over existing Cat. 5 cables. Unit can deliver up to 30 Watts on 4 ports, up to 15 Watts on all 8 copper ports or 90W of PoE++ power on copper Port#1. The total PoE power budget is 125W. The switch eliminates need for individual power sources for devices in the network, saving on costs for power cables and avoiding power outlet availability issues.

Fanless Design
The RB10-802S-PSE’s simple design does not include any cooling fans, enabling the unit to run completely silent and in a reliable manner wherever location it is installed.
